first day and a lotta prayer.

Yesterday was my first "official" day at my new job! I am now a Physician Assistant in Internal Medicine. Yesterday was mainly spent organizing my office space, setting up my exam rooms, meeting people. But today.... Today, I saw my first patient. Or my first 7 patients. I can't really describe how it feels to have a dream of doing something for so long. Going to school. Spending thousands. Graduating. Passing Boards. And then.. all of a sudden... you're just done. And nothing can really prepare you for that first time you walk into your exam room to see your patient where your name is on their chart and you sign your name to their prescription. It's just weird. And fun.
And I love it.

Yes, my husband made me take a "1st day" pic. :)
